Jesus Drives Out the Money Changers

“Jesus is stated to have visited the Temple in Jerusalem, Herod’s Temple, where the courtyard is described as being filled with livestock and the tables of the money changers, who changed the standard Greek and Roman money for Jewish and Tyrian money. And making a whip of cords, he drove them all out of the temple, with the sheep and oxen. And he poured out the coins of the money-changers and overturned their tables. The New Testament an Instruction Manual

In several of the blogs I’ve written recently I’ve discussed that the Bible and especially the New Testament is a book of instructions to reach higher consciousness. Neville Goddard has drawn the metaphor that the human imagination is the Son of God. That is, he says, you can create Heaven on earth by what you imagine.

The Temple in the top paragraph represents the place where the Holy Spirit resides and what Jesus pointed out was the mind and body of man is that temple. When one drives the money changers out of their imagination their faith is based on God’s supply.

Money is not real. It’s an Imaginary Medium.

The reasons behind this are quite apparent and practical. Money is a medium of exchange. Essentially it is nothing and the only value it has is what society, what you, and other’s put on it. A bill or a coin has no intrinsic value; it’s value is constantly changing. It’s a medium of exchange that represents future acquisition of goods or services. As such, it’s unreal. It’s imaginary.

Wait a minute! Didn’t we just say, Jesus the Son of God, represents imagination. Therefore imaging money, which is imaginary, miss the mark. Sin is defined as “missing the mark.” It is placing man before God.

God provides.

If you want a house or car, imagine those things and you can create them. Don’t imagine the  imaginary.

Kick the money changers out of the temple.
