New Kindle book shows how to be more alive.
A Chinese proverb says, “Habits are cobwebs at first, cables at last.” So how do you break these cables when together they’re holding everything you know as ‘you?’ While some people are able to go “cold turkey,” often later they’re drawn back into the same habit. In our lives, we make our habits and then our habits make us. Or do they?
Sort of a paradox. If your habit of thought is to always believe that you can’t change, then you certainly won’t change. It’s a self-fulfilling prophesy. Here, right now: You can change if you believe you can change; in other words, you can become younger, you can be more vibrant, you can become more alive. You can rejuvenate yourself. Make a habit of these thoughts. Think like this: I’m flexible, I’m alive, and I am vibrant.
This book is based on you understanding ‘you’ but it is not going to directly ask you to get rid of bad habits. As you work through the book, that will happen, and when you look back at your life these habits will have dropped away from you much like a chrysalis when the butterfly emerges.
Understanding is the most powerful force in the world, and as you understand more and begin to apply this wisdom over time, you will rejuvenate yourself. You will have changed, and there is certainly nothing to be feared by this. You are going to be the same person inside, but you are going to feel younger, look younger, and appear vibrant. In fact, you will be more alive.
